As Deputy CIO for the City of Chattanooga, I assisted in the strategic planning for and day-to-day management of the City’s IS Department (approx. 50 positions). I assisted in setting enterprise-wide technology direction, provided leadership, managed change and risk, fostered positive relations with other city departments, and kept abreast of current technologies and IT trends. Directly reporting to me were the Network Manager, the Telecommunications Manager, the System & Database Support Manager, the Application Services Manager, and the Call Center Supervisor.
